Think Poetic è un invito a vestire poeticamente noi stesse e il mondo.
Un racconto nato da un amore viscerale e decennale per l’India.
Dalla città rosa di Jaipur, custode di storie artigiane, a Bombay, città-vita in cui tutto si intreccia e pulsa. I nostri colori sono il dono dei fiori offerti ai templi indiani, sfumature nate dalla natura e dalla devozione. Lavoriamo con tessuti preziosi, come il lino stampato con la tecnica del block printing, un’arte antica. Oppure scegliamo cotone organico, per la sua matericità e sostenibilità.
Ogni capo è realizzato con cura, un percorso di moda lenta che non svanisce in una stagione. Creiamo collezioni sempreverdi. Conosciamo personalmente i nostri sarti: hanno volti, storie e mani attente.
Conosciamo gli scultori dei blocchi in legno, veri artisti contemporanei. Proviamo e riproviamo. Ispirandoci ai fiori, ai colori che ci calmano o ci fanno sorridere, ai tessuti in cui ci sentiamo a casa.

Think Poetic is an invitation to dress poetically ourselves and the world, a story born from a ten-year-old and visceral love for India.
From the pink city of Jaipur, guardian of artisan stories, to Bombay, city - life, in which everything is intertwined and pulsating. Our colors are the gift of flowers offered to Indian temples, nuances born from nature and devotion.We work with precious fabrics, such as linen printed with the block printing technique, an ancient art. Or we choose organic cotton for its materiality and sustainability. Each item is made with care, a slow fashion path that does not fade in a year. We always create green collections. We personally know the individual tailors, they have a face and careful hands. We know the wood block sculptors, contemporary artists.We try and retry.Inspired by flowers, colors that calm us or make us smile, to the tissues in which we feel at home.We still believe in wonder.

Natural holy colours
I dettagli sono speciali, cambiano una giornata o anche solo un pensiero.
I colori dei nostri capi nascono dai fiori dei templi.
In India è tradizione offrire fiori alle divinità: ogni giorno, un numero immenso di fiori viene donato con devozione.
La realtà di Bombay con cui collaboriamo si occupa proprio di raccogliere questi fiori offerti, che altrimenti verrebbero sprecati. Li espone al sole, li macina “offerti a Dio” e benedetti.
È per questo che immaginare di indossare un abito fatto con fiori divini è qualcosa di profondamente etico, naturale e poetico.
Ha un’energia completamente diversa rispetto a un capo tinto con coloranti chimici.

The colors of the clothes are taken from the flowers of the temples. In India it is used to offer flowers to the divinities, so an immense number of flowers every day is offered with devotion.The reality of Bombay with which we work deals with the collection of flowers offered and that should be wasted, exposes them to the sun, grinds them "offered to the God" and blessed. It is therefore very ethical, natural and poetic to imagine wearing a dress made with divine flowers. And it has a completely different energy level than clothes with chemical dyes.
Slow, really slow fashion
La nostra piccola produzione di abiti è esattamente l’opposto della fast fashion.
Non è sempre semplice e immediato da gestire, perché i tempi sono davvero molto lunghi e il cambio di paradigma è profondo. Come abbiamo visto, anche solo la scelta dei colori richiede passaggi lenti e complessi: recuperare i fiori dai templi, essiccarli, fare numerose prove per trovare la gradazione giusta. Collaboriamo con sarti che lavorano in piccoli atelier, artigiani che tramandano un savoir-faire antico, di generazione in generazione: l’arte di scolpire il legno o l’abilità di usare con incredibile precisione la tecnica del block print.
Oggi capita spesso di trovare tessuti falsamente definiti block print, in realtà stampati al laser ma il risultato è completamente diverso.

Block Print
È una tecnica tipica indiana, più precisamente del Rajasthan. I passaggi per realizzare un capo in block print ricordano quelli di una vera creazione artistica, che coinvolge numerosi artigiani. Prima di tutto si realizza il blocco, scolpendo a mano sul legno il motivo che decorerà il tessuto.
In una società in cui tutto avviene velocemente, sembra quasi impossibile.
E invece il legno viene intagliato manualmente, curando anche i dettagli più piccoli.
Successivamente, sempre a mano, si stampa il motivo sul tessuto, più e più volte. Una fantasia necessita in media di quattro blocchi diversi. Poi, a seconda del tipo di lavorazione, il tessuto viene lavato o lasciato asciugare direttamente al sole.
Infine, passa nelle mani di un sarto e/o di un ricamatore.
